Item #10 (My Color Combos for the Week) |
Happy fourth of July everyone!
Here is a fun census report that over the average fourth of July holiday, American's consume 150million hot dogs. This day is also the biggest beer selling holiday of the year.(The other top four are: Labor Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Christmas.) American's also spend approximately $11million on popsicle and charcoal, both for fourth of July.
Item #11 (4th of July Harts of Flutter) |
I had heaps of fun making these fourth of July cards today! I made this card with the Stamping' Up "Hearts a Flutter" Stamp item # 129252and I also used the Framlits "Hearts a flutter" also to cut out each stamp with, that item #130159.For the back ground I sponge on my real read ink #126949 and navy blue to some smooth shiny card stock. I used some small silver brads to tie the whole look of the card in.
Item # 12 (4th of July American Poppies) |
I think this card is gorgeous!
I used of course the red, white and blue card stock to make this card by Stampin' Up! The Stampin' Up! Stamp set that I used to make this card was the "Poppies stamp" item #132061, I also used an embossing folder to the top half of my card , the layer behind the poppy flower to add a little texture, I used three different color ribbon to go with the theme of red, white and blue, and used some silver candy dots brads item #132293 to tie in the look of this card. What a fun morning of making cards!
