Item #5 (Free Bird Sings) |
I had a lot of fun making this different shaped oval card. To start I used the Stampin' Up! "ovals Framelits" item #129381 to cut out the shape of the card. Then I used a smaller Framlit and embossed it with :Grain Wood" embossing folder item # 127821. To make the bird I used the "Bird Builder" punch item# 117191, for the cute flowers I used the "Boho Blossoms" punch item # 119858 and glued all the little flowers together then embellished with a pearl in the center. added 3 brads, ribbon and added a cute little clothes pin to hold the message.
Item #6 (A Lacy Hello) |
This was really fun to make. First I started off with a base color card stock from Stampin' Up! called "Smoky Slate" the next color card stock in the card I used was "Pool Party" , "Blushing Bride" and white card stock in which I stamped the images on. After picking out my card stock I decided on the stamps i wanted to use and i chose to use "Lacy and Lovely" stamp set by Stampin' Up! item # 122887. The ink pads that I chose to stamp my images with are Basic grey, crumb cake, pool party and regal rose. After stamping the images I decided to embellish the stamps with jewels, ribbon. I also used a border punch to the card called "Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch" item # 119275.
Item # 7 (Tea Party Fun) |
I have always enjoyed a great cup of hot tea, growing up in Australia and being an Australian citizen we definitely enjoy drinking tea. To make this card I wanted to choose Jewel tone card stock, blues, greens and purples. I again i used the "Dotted Scallop border punch" Item # 119275 and for the embossing i used a fun embossing folder called "Chevron" item # 127749. I just love adding different textures to different cards. The stamp set I chose to use was "Tea Shoppe" which I believe has retired now. I used the "Boho Blossoms" flower punch to create the flower and added a jewel, brads 1/8 inch silver by Stampin' Up! To stamp the image i used "Garden green" stamp pad by Stampin' Up!
